So remember that time when you had your heart broken? Do you still have that wedding dress, the axe that you hacked his furniture up with, or that mad gnome you threw at his car? Not sure what to do with them? Well of course, we have the solution.

Contribute them with your broken relationship story to the international Museum of Broken Relationships, which is arriving in Singapore as part of the m1 Singapore Fringe Festival this January.

The museum dedicated to broken hearts was founded in Croatia. Authors of the concept Olinka Vištica and Drazen Grubišić decided to set up the museum after consoling friends over their failed romances. The artists attempt to create and preserve an international collection of emotional heritage through the submission of these objects and their accompanying stories. The museum has traveled to London and Berlin and arrives in Singapore on 7 January 2009.

So lick your emotional wounds away by donating your own personal artifacts and stories and contribute to the Singapore component of the Museum of Broken Relationships. Not only will you get that sweet revenge but you will also be telling the world about it.

The Museum of Broken Relationships, M1 Fringe Festival 7-18 January 2009. Esplande - Jendela. Admission is free.
