It appears that you've put a good amount of effort into your article and I demand a lot more of these on the World Wide Web these days. I truly got a kick out of your post. I do not have a bunch to to say in reply, I only wanted to register to say phenomenal work.
Indulge in a Detox
Get your bounce back
02 January 2009
Your jeans are tight, your bum looks big in everything, you are constantly tired, and you have definitely lost that cheery spring in your step. Sound familiar? You my friend are in need of a simple detox.
'I'm detoxing' seems to be the sentence on everyone's lips lately... no doubt as a result of the excesses of Christmas and the obligatory New Years resolutions to get healthy, get fit and lose weight.
The quickest tried and tested detox is the Fruit Detox. That means eating only fruit for 5 days. The purpose of the fruit diet, is to detox the liver. Our typical diet is high in fat, sugar, and preservatives. All of these can cause toxins to build up in the liver, which is responsible for filtering toxins out of our blood stream. The liver ends up working overtime and can't keep up. A fruit detox gives your liver a break and a chance to catch up.
During the diet, expect to feel hungry, lethargic and have head aches the first few days but at the end you'll have shed about 2kg, feel lighter look younger and fresher and have plenty of energy. It's worth it and your body will thank you... until the next party!
The fruit detox is simple; you just eat 1 fruit portion every 2.5 hours and drink about 2 litres of water per day. Men should add 30% to each portion. Here is my personal daily detox diet:
1 medium apple
15 grapes
1 grapefruit
2 slices papaya
2 kiwi fruit
1 orange
1 banana
2 litres of water
Before beginning a fruit detox diet, you should talk with your doctor to make sure this diet is safe for you. For more information click here
