Eat and Shop at Ion Orchard

Refuel and recharge on your shopping expedition

29 June 2009

Relax. No one is going to starve on their shopping trip to ION, trust me. After a sneak peek of the food on offer at the new Ion Orchard, we are almost as excited about the dining experiences as the shopping... well almost.

Starting at the basements 2 and 3, ION will have the largest food court on Orchard, with over 80 food stalls and cuisines. A great place for a quick refuel.

If you are keen on Japanese, head to the ION Food Hall on B4. Amongst the food kiosks, you will find 16 new-to-market Japanese specialty food, snacks and desserts. Hai!

For the more refined, head to level 4, where you will find the Oyster Bar at The Nautilus Project. A new restaurant concept with celebrity chef Jason Dell at the helm, The Nautilus Project promises to produce cosmopolitan 'pan Asian' dishes, with a focus on seafood.

Need a Dim Sum fix? On level 3, you will find Canton-I, another first for Singapore, who fly their springy noodles from Hong Kong. Or you could try the hip and trendy Itacho from Hong Kong, for fresh sushi and sashimi.

Done for the day? Don't forget to pick up your Dean & Deluca or Fortnum & Mason cookies at the new gourmet supermarket, Three Sixty from Hong Kong, for the trip home. Or pop into TWG Tea Boutique and Salon for tea and a divine tea infused macaroon, to reward yourself for your shopping achievements!
