Metro Tunes
Head to the White Rabbit's Anniversary Party this Saturday to catch the highly anticipated Metro Area. This Brooklyn-based act will get you grooving to the old moods of R&B, disco and boogie and the more cutting-edge sound of innovative house and techno. Think Detroit techno and New York's warm, fuzzy and deep house. Arrive at 9.30pm to enjoy Heineken free flow until 10.30pm.

Truth & Transactions
Check out Streetwalkers (R18), a smart, intricate and refreshing play about three different men, of different ages and social strata. Winner of Best Play Award at Theatre Idols 2009, Streetwalkers is a hard-hitting play that dissects the nature of contemporary relationships, addressing issues as diverse as materialism, aging, fidelities and sexual identities. A must-see!

Beauty & the Feast
Zouks quarterly flea market is on this Sunday. Promising recession friendly retail therapy with over 70 stalls selling new, pre-loved clothes, accessories and assorted bric-a-brac. Plus this market will also be offering beauty and grooming services (a quick mani, pedi or massage will do), and treats for the foodies including homemade burgers, cupcakes and cookies. Sweet. For fans of Blackmarket, check out their Great Blackmarket Depression sale which starts this weekend. With up to 50% off there's nothing too depressing about it.

Wine Time
There are two great wine sales on this weekend. Empty out the car boot before heading to Top Wines for their warehouse sale - where there is up to 60% off and a sensational range, (keep an eye out for Fleur Leroy's sophisticated pink Champers). If you are looking for a wine bargain closer to town, head to il Lido's Wine Fair, with rare and boutique wines on sale from $25. Bottoms up sweetie!

The laughter continues this weekend with Live Comedy from the world's Best Comedy Clubs. Let the comedians David Williams and Quincy, followed by the the HATM Band, give you a reason to chuckle.

Park It
The family concert-in-the-park is back this weekend. This weekend's event features Electrico (the band commissioned to perform the National Day theme song), The Lion Story, EN-X and Budak Pantai, and fringe activities such as the very popular online photography competition. Bring a camera, bring a chair, bring a mat, bring a hat, bring your shades, and bring your family.
When: Sun, 4-6.30pm (concert starts at 5.00pm). Free.
