Budding designers get that creative flair ready. Design the most creative and original bag for Agnes b and win a TF bag worth $415. Head down to the participating stores to grab an entry form and then get sketching.

Arty farty
Check out Give Art, a new funky new gallery in Chinatown, that has it sorted out for you. You can fall in love with an artwork, and then organize for your pals to buy it for you through Give Art’s website gift service. We like it. If you are in Tanglin area, pop into Mulan Gallery to check out Sonny Liew and Koh Hong Teng’s comic illustrators on life in Singapore.

From bachata’s sexy hip-swaying to the high-voltage spins of b-boying, let Footwork show you how to get it right. As part of Da:ns Festival 2009, check out a dance class for some light relief this weekend. Whatever your age, style and mood, whether you’re in need of stress-relief, a chick with retro tastes, or even a doting parent with toddler in tow, there’s a dance workshop for you.

Sunset sundowners
Need to getaway but island bound this weekend? You need to sip sundowners at sunset over the coast. The East Coast that is. Head to One Twenty Six for happy hour and sip away on a pimms, martini or just a refreshing ale. Nothing better.

Bling bling
So you want to get into the jewel trade? Get your rocks off at the Jewellery Design and Management International School open house. Here you will find out how to become a studio jeweler, gemologist, jewel marketer or retailer. Sounds pretty cut to me.

Photography Buffs
