Hit the Flicks
So Borat is 'niiice', but so 2006. Its time you met Bruno. The latest Sacha Baron Cohen character is just as cringe-inducing, and of course, not for the faint hearted. For the rom-com fans, the latest Sandra Bullock flick, The Proposal gets our tick of approval. We can't get enough of Ryan Reynolds, yumm-o. If you are keen for something more cultured, check out Coco Before Chanel, starring the smart and sophisticated Audrey Tautou.
When: now showing
Where: Golden Village and Cathay Cinemas
Lazy Long Lunch
Head seaside for a lazy long lunch at Braise. Looking over Palawan Beach on Sentosa, this white, modern and sparsely decorated restaurant oozes chic. The set lunch at $38++ is fantastic value with top notch food presentation and service. Soak it up over a glass of chilled white, this is the perfect weekend escape.
