Furniture Frenzy
We love John Erdos especially his warehouse sales. With up to 80% off, a new sofa, bed or side table is easy to justify. Get those elbows ready and head straight to the warehouse sale on this weekend only. Your home will love you for it.
When: 10am-5pm Friday - Sunday
Where: John Erdos Warehouse Sale, 320 Havelock Road, p. 5735 3307

Book Worms Rejoice
Looking for a copy of Gone with the Wind, War & Peace or Animal Farm? The 10th Annual Library Book Sale is on this weekend, and with English and Malay titles all at $2, this is the place to go to stock your bookshelf with all the classics.
When: Saturday & Sunday 9.30-8pm
Where: 10th Annual Library Book Sale, Singapore Expo Hall 6A

Hidden Treasures
It may not look like much from the outside but we love the almost-friendly service and the array of tasty dim sum to munch on. A great way to kick off your weekend - just makes sure you keep room for the desserts!
When: Dim Sum is served daily from 7am
Where:
Red Star Restaurant 54 Chin Swee Road #07-23 p. 6532 5266

Jazz Tones
Always good for a soulful night, South Bridge Jazz is the place to go for the best jazz in Singapore. The house band play each night (except Monday) and Friday & Saturday are perfect date night or evening with your closest friends. The entry fee is waived for the fee of a few cocktails- that is not so hard is it?
When: Evenings from 10pm
Where: Jazz at Southbridge, 82b Boat Quay Singapore

Stretch Your Legs
Get energized and get active, get going on the Southern Ridges 9km walk. Starting at Mount Faber Park, walk around to West Coast Park while taking in the best of Singapore's outdoors including great panoramic views of the city, harbor and the islands of Singapore's south. Great for the hamstrings!
When: Daily, but go early or late afternoon to avoid the heat.
Where: start at Mount Faber Park
