Oriole Cafe and Bar at The Pan Pacific Suites is a blissfully hidden café, with the best Calamari and coffee in town. While sipping their signature Chilli Chocolate Mocha, feel free to read, chit-chat or even breastfeed in the spacious and comfy red leather booth-seats of this Avroko-designed eatery. High chairs with adjustable harness available.
After an invigorating baby swimming lesson at Aquaducks, stop by at The White Rabbit across the road for a light lunch and a caffeine fix. Ask the chef to make tot a kiddie-sized portion of their famous mac and cheese while you enjoy your oysters or steak tartare. Then after that, play the name game with the cute animal topiaries in their garden!
Or check out new café on the Dempsey block, Café Hacienda, located just beside the nightspot of the same name. The café offers up a staggering menu, including comfort foods like pizzas and pastas, breakfast items and three kinds of hand-chopped Wagyu beef burgers! Also, they have a store of brand new high-chairs lying in wait to greet their tiny guests with.
Another absolute haven is PS Café at Palais Renaissance on weekdays or early on Saturday morning. The leafy green plants and the colonial-style décor is a cosy retreat for the mummy, kiddies and girlfriends to boot.
Stroller mummies with younger babies and who have a fetish for sweet treats must pay a visit to Caramel at Shaw Towers. We love the myriad of bright retro colours in the wonderfully kitschy surroundings. And if you need a quick wash and blow dry, pop into Hairloom adjoining the café, very handy!
Looking for a small intimate cafe where everyone knows your name? Head to Kith Café at Robertson Quay. The coffee is some of the best in Singapore, and if you need a sugar hit, the pancakes do the trick. Enjoy free parking in The Watermark, just mention you are visiting Kith… but shhh don’t tell anyone!
