The Danish Eye

Furniture you are going to love

17 October 2009

So when you hear 'antique store', you think of your Mum. We know. But we have found a great little furniture store that will change your definition of antique.

With her Danish eye for design, Helle Espersen hand picks Chinese furniture for her store FairPrice Antiques. And the result is Chinese Chic. Think simple clean lines, white and light colours, symmetrical shapes, with a touch of the old world.

FairPrice Antiques has a range of antique, reproduction and new pieces. We love the re-created dining tables made from recycled old wood, the colourful yellow and blue sideboards, the sweet white dresser and half moon tables and the bright lacquered trunks. The pieces are simple and work well with modern interiors. Not too fussy like many antiques can be. And what's even better, is this antique store doesn't charge like an antique store!

So if you are stuck for a Christmas idea that you will both love, pop over to FairPrice Antiques this weekend and I am sure you will find a little treasure that could be delivered on right time by Santa's helper.

P.S. Hot off the press - we have just heard there is NEW SHIPMENT due in this Saturday 21 November - first in best dress-er!
