Birth As We Know It
08 January 2010
A birth workshop will be conducted in Singapore by Elena Tonetti, renowned director of the amazing birth film, Birth As We Know It, portraying water births in the Black Sea, unassisted births and even orgasmic births. (Yes you did read right).
Elena Tonetti has been documenting amazing births for decades and conducting birth workshops designed to return to women the confidence in their ability to birth comfortably and easily. Elena's workshop focuses on limbic imprinting, the primitive part of the brain where the long term memory has stored our own birth experience. During gestation, birth and early childhood, the limbic system registers our feelings, without translating it into the language of cortex, simply because it's not developed yet.
That memory lives in the body throughout the rest of our life whether we know of it or not. Limbic Imprint Re-coding invokes the physical and emotional memory of Bliss...unlocking the mysteries of behaviors, re-aligning emotions and desires with actions.
This experiential workshop is a combination of lecture, specific movement, specific breath work, hands-on exercises, role-playing, sharing in the most amazing group dynamic (this work attracts remarkable individuals) - all effectively woven together through Elena's experience from 27 years of communing with the Birthing field.
January 30th and 31st 2010, Elena Tonetti will be conducting this workshop in Singapore! It will be held at Mind Champs, 51 Changi Business Park Central 2, 10-16 The Signature.
A screening of the video Birth As We Know It will be held on Friday evening, 29th January, 7:30PM at ParentLink, 101 McNair Road, Singapore.
