The best iphone apps in town

So you have an iphone, now you need some time savers (and time wasters). Here are the latest and greatest applications for the Lion state.

Quintessentially
This is like a mini luxe guide for all the glam cities around the world. Think Rome, Moscow, New York. With where to stay, eat, shop and party, this is one cool app. We are just waiting for them to add some more cities in SE Asia. Free.

Fairs & Fleas
Nothing like a shopping app. Especially one that focuses on the flea markets and bazaars around Singapore. This one is a great summary of what's on, just a shame it's not updated with the actual dates. You will need to read Honeycombers for that. Free.

Words with Friends
For all those word-smiths out there, engage in crossword combat with your mates with this app. It is the same addicting turn-based gaming style of Chess With Friends translated to crossword gameplay. Free.

FlickTouch Gold
One for the film buffs. Simple and useful, it provides a movie list, with images and a synopsis of all films currently playing in Singapore and the locations and times of the screening. Free.

Karma Art
Need to waste some time and write love letters? Download Karma Art and you can create cute drawings with balloons, birds, flowers etc, cut and paste and then send them to someone you love. Ahh! $ 0.99.

iCash SG
Although the name sounds like this app will dispense cash from the phone, it doesn't. But it does locate all major banks ATMs around the island, so you can easily find one nearby. Handy huh. Free with ads or $1.99 to turn the ads off.

Speedcams Singapore: AlertMe
The name kinda says it all. This app alerts you to fixed speed cameras and red light cameras once you log in your journey and configure what kind of alerts you want. Always nice to be one step ahead of the law. $2.49.

iMerlion
Not enough apps yet? This app, helps you find more apps - designed for our Lion state. The perfect time waster. Free of course.

Got another great app that we need to know about? Please add it here.

I would like to recommend this app - AppBox. Its amazing with many functions all under 1 roof. Currency - convert the currency in real time. Holiday - inform you the entire holiday calendar in different countries. Tip calculator - helps you sort out the bill when you next go dutch. pCalendar - tells you when to get kinky and increase your chance to get a baby :)
