Do you have a four-legged friend in your life? Or thinking of adopting one? The only challenge is working out who's going to look after your chum when you want head out of town. We have asked all our fluffy friends and here are the tried and test places for puss or pooch to stay and play.

Cat Woman
The best place for your cat is home sweet home. Organise a cat sitter so your feline buddy is not in a strange environment. We have had excellent reports about Sue Lyn and Rick from Pet Mobile, both update you puss's holiday snaps via sms. Everyone will be purring.

Dog House
Lots of furry friends like the doggie daycare at K9 Kampus. Here they walk and swim your dog and the have a great kennelling system where all the dogs sleep in the same room (great for pack animals like dogs). Handlers also sleep in the room to make sure everyone sleeps soundly. And to make sure you sleep soundly on holidays, you can even watch your dog at play from anywhere in the world through the K9 Kampus Webcam.

Doggie Cafe
Looking for a doggies treat? Head to the US Doggie Barkery where fido can enjoy some freshly baked cheese paws, honey bears or peanut candies, all baked freshly daily. Want to know where to get a latte locally with your furry friends? Check out our Fido-Friendly Cafe Listings.

Pamper the Pooch
Also in the Turf City area Fur'n'Away is a highly recommended groomer and doggie massage place - perfect for doggies that need a little TLC.

Park and Bark
If you are looking for a good off lead dog runs head to Bishan Park 2 or the West Coast Park Dog Run. Both are fenced, so you can rest assured your pal won't end up playing in the traffic or worse in Malaysia. A couple of great on-lead walks include The Botanical Gardens and Bedok Reservoir. It is strictly on-lead and as it is a national park you must scoop your poop.

Swim & Surf
For some swimming action, there is a new swimming pool open for dogs at K9 Kampus (weekends only for non-members). Or head to the beach. Tanjong Beach on Sentosa is a great place for a splish'n splash'n for our four-legged friends.

Pet Safari
Looking for that puppy in the window or some ultimate pet pampering? Head directly to Pet Safari at Vivocity. These guys have thought of everything. There's a grooming centre, a display area where you can purchase pets, a vet clinic and shelf after shelf of food, toys, furniture, shoes, clothes, and even pet strollers!

There's a special place to house your rabbits while you are away (coz rabbits are so different from cats and dogs!). It's called Little ND (it's at Everton Park near Cantonment Road) and you can find them on Facebook. It's run by a young couple who sell Netherland Dwarf rabbits. Admittedly I haven't tried their pet hotelling services before, but I send my bunny there for grooming and they take good care of him.
