Singapore is really growing up. A big girl now, we even have our very own fashion trade show. Look out next we will learn to tie our own shoes, brush our hair, and tie up our piggy tails...

But, back to the fashion - Blueprint 2010 is the first fashion show trade of Singapore. Designed to showcase the best of design talents from Singapore, Asia, Europe and U.S.A. to an international buying audience, will end on a high note on May 1 with Blueprint Emporium, with a big party!

Blueprint Emporium will debut as a one-day only shopping and party lifestyle event where visitors will have the opportunity to view and shop collections from the best and brightest of Singapore and Asian talent, as well as international rising fashion stars on the cusp of discovery. With most of the designers' works not commercially available in Singapore, this means a chance to grab rare and unique pieces from some of Asia's cutting-edge names, including Johanna Ho and Roj Singhakul (they are up-and-comers!).

You can also preview and shop exclusive cruise collections and diffusion lines specially created and launched at BLUEPRINT, including AWOL by Alfie Leong, benWU, Laichan, Yen, RAOUL. Then as the sun falls, the party begins. The Pit Building is transformed into an alternative fashion club space by Zouk, as they host the Blueprint closing party, Dresscode! Helming the decks will be Japan's Fantastic Plastic Machine, the solo project of DJ/Producer Tomoyuki Tanaka.

Fashionistas and fashion lovers alike can also enjoy other exciting highlights at Blueprint Emporium, including styling sessions and fashion shows featuring Singapore designers and emerging talents from Star Creation, an initiative to uncover new Singapore and Asian fashion stars of tomorrow. Blueprint Emporium will be opened for shopping from 2pm to 10pm.
