Muse for musos
The Mosaic Music Festival keeps those Indie-gigs rolling in. Check out the folksy pop tunes of Norwegian Kings of Convenience and then later head to 11th Hour - Vashti Bunyan to melody out to the British singer-songwriter's fragile, honest vocals. You'll by humming for weeks.
When: Kings of Convenience: Thu 18 & Fri 19 Mar, 7.30pm $40-80. 11th Hour - Vashti Bunyan Fri 19, 11pm $40-80. See SISTIC.
Where: Esplanade Concert Hall, The Esplanade, 1 Esplanade Drive.

Matt Damon please
Matt Damon and director Paul Greengrass (The Bourne Supremacy, The Bourne Ultimatum, United 93) re-team for their latest electrifying thriller in Green Zone, a film set in the chaotic early days of the Iraqi War when no one could be trusted and every decision could detonate unforeseen consequences. Thumbs up from Rotten Tomatoes.
When: now showing
Where: Golden Village cinemas, various locations

Playful ramen
Looking for a reason to visit the new 313 Somerset? With some funky street fashion stores like Forever 21, Uniglo and Cotton On - its not like you need one. But while you're there try out Ramen Play, the new concept by the clever guys at BreadTalk. We love the chicken bamboo skewers and the Wafu Shoyu Ramen which is a fish style ramen with lots of oomph.
When: open now, head early for lunch to beat the queues
Where: Ramen Play, Basement of 313 Somerset, Orchard Road.

Rowdy rugby
Yes its time for the Hong Kong Sevens again. This sporting event is great fun, even if you don't like rugby. So if you haven't been or need a good excuse for this loud, colorful and boisterous weekend, secure a Cathy Pacific package with airfares and ticket for $871pp.
When: bookings opened this week
Where: Hong Kong silly. Book with Cathay Pacific on 6533 1333
