In April, the Singapore fashion industry will welcome the debut of a new initiative created to identify and foster future generations of Singaporean and regional design talent. STAR CREATION is a fashion design competition which not only will uncover new local and Asian talents, but also groom them into becoming the fashion stars of tomorrow.

The competition, pegged on the theme Designing The Future, will feature 12 finalists from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Korea, Japan, Vietnam and China. Of these, three winners will be selected and each will be awarded a $10,000 cash prize from Audi Singapore and a one-year work attachment with leading fashion retailer, FJ Benjamin, complete with the opportunity to launch their own capsule collections.

In addition, Audi Singapore will recognize the work of one designer with the Audi Young Designer Award (AYDA). The winner will be judged based on the innovative and visionary qualities of his or her collection, in keeping with Audi's design philosophy.
