Our review of the new Bugaboo Bee
Thursday, 11 Mar 2010
The Bugaboo Bee is back, better than ever. And we can’t stop drooling.
So what’s the buzz?
Spinning around. Your child can face you or the world in a simple close, lift and reverse, slide back in and open.
The seat is wider, grows with your child (51cm to 59cm) and is made from a new fabric with better padding. It also allows them to sit in a more natural postion. Comfort = happiness. The new sun canopy also has more space for your growing infant.
And they’ve redesigned the locks for intuitive use and easy folding. And that’s just how we like it.
Note – the new Bee only has 3 recline positions instead of 4.
New wheels baby
The Bee boasts the Bugaboo wheels and suspension, but with shorter springs – all the better for you to zip around town. And, after their 2009 recall, its good to know they’ve completely revamped their braking system. Safety first!
And we love…
The impressive ten height options for the handlebar.
What’s the same?
The new Bee is still suitable from birth to 17kgs and the the stroller weight and underseat basket haven’t changed.
Compact and nimble – with all the great Bugaboo features and style. We love how the new Bee feels zippy yet sturdy. We’re buying one in April when they’re released in Singapore. See you in line!
