Blueprint Emporium
Singapore's fashion trade show finally comes of age. Blueprint, the 3-day trade and fashion exhibition which brings together Asia's brightest creative talents, transforms into an exciting shopping event. Sample the offerings of original and unique emerging brands at BLUEPRINT Emporium. See the Pit Building become an alternative fashion club space with international DJ to boot.
When: Sat 1 May 2010
Where: Blueprint Emporium, Pit Building, next to Singapore Flyer.

Stereophonics
The Welsh rock icons return to sunny Singapore and will be bashing out their new single Could You Be The One? this weekend. After selling 9m records and producing 7 studio albums, their sharply crafted melodic storytelling will get you up-for-it this week. Unbelievably there are still tickets left.
When: Fri 30 Apr, 2010, 8pm. $88-98. See SISTIC.
Where: Fort Canning Park (Fort Canning Green), 51 Fort Canning Rise.

Shack Out
As one (container) door opens, another one closes. We won't be sad to see this bar-come-shipping container close, mainly because it will be a lively farewell and a fun-opening in a few months time. Break out the glow sticks and look out for the FHM model yoghurt wrestling (yes, that's right) and party on with Parisian psychobilly DJ Breakbot to bid adieu to this party venue.
When: Sat 1st May, 2010 from 5pm.
Where: The Shack, 120 Tanjong Beach Walk, Sentosa.

Chocolate Puma
If you're looking for some clubbing action, Dutch DJ/Producer duo Rene ter Horst and Gaston Steenkist aka Chocolate Puma will be helming the decks at Zouk. Responsible for over 200 dancefloor anthems and 50 remixes for the likes of Roger Sanchez and Bob Sinclar, they will be joined by Ibiza's resident Sarah Main and Pacha's slinky dancers. Expect a performance.
When: Fri 30 Apr, 2010. $18 before 10pm.
Where: Zouk Nightclub, 17 Jiak Kim Street

Bar Bar Black Sheep
If Bukit Timah is the boonies for you (as it is for us), you will be pleased to know Bar Bar Black Sheep has just opened on the river (down from Kith). This is a relaxed bar-come-eatery with the offerings of Thai, Western and soon to be opened Indian. We were impressed with its $7 beers and suitably spicy Thai meals. Finish or start your night with a beer at the new Malted Milk bar around the corner.
When: just opened.
Where: Bar Bar Black Sheep, Robinson Quay (down from Kith Cafe), Malted Milk, behind Gallery Hotel.
