Doing the Irish jig
Fresh from their Australian tour the Dublin indie-rock alternative band, The Coronas are here to belt out tunes from their platinum album Heroes or Ghosts. These guys won Best Irish Album (beating the likes of U2 and Snow Patrol!) with their second album Tony Was An Ex-Con at the national music awards of Ireland. Ah, the luck of the Irish!

Zouk boutique
Conceptualised by local design outfit, Asylum, Zouk Boutique is launching this Friday. Check out this unique retail experience, echoing a distinctive personality of its own, before heading to see the first lady of Techno, Ellen Allien. Ellen has released several acclaimed albums/compilations and is the proud founder of her label Bpitch Control.

McQueen & co
A masterpiece of dance theatre, Eonnagata is set during the time of King Louis XV and tells the story of the Chevalier d'Éon, Charles de Beaumont - diplomat, writer, swordsman and the first spy to use transvestitism. The play also references the ancient Kabuki technique of Onnegata - in which male actors portray female roles in an extremely stylised fashion. Rounding off this creative collaboration are costumes by the late Alexander McQueen, and lighting pioneer Michael Hulls.

Trois
This French outdoor show with puppetry, dance, mime, stilts and masks,Trois is a poetic and touching tale illustrating the circle of life. Two actors dress like puppets - one a newborn who can't even stand up straight, the other a giant on stilts. Watch the little puppet who wants to fly away on his own wings, cut the string that ties him to his parent, which kills his parent but allows him to live free.
