I was a bit reluctant to do an registry but after doing some browsing and research. I see there are many benefits to it and I love the options and convenience of it. Plus some of my friends are horrible shopper. I would love to get art as gift that would be heavenly! Thanks for the post.

Everyone is talking about: Give Art
Seed the perfect gift idea
02 June 2010
You're a tough women - to shop for. You know what you like, and what you don't like. And people just don't get it. With every present you open, you get ready to put on that 'ohhh I just love it' mask, and then pray to exchange it. We hear you.
But those days are gone, because Give Art has arrived with the perfect gift - art - it lasts a lifetime, is unique and oh so enjoyable.
Give Art is a fabulous bespoke gift service, which allows you to browse their virtual gallery, set up a gift registry, buy art or art gift vouchers online.
You can choose from one of their critically acclaimed artists, ensuring your gift is a striking piece that appeals to you and is a sound investment. Registries can be set up by you to celebrate a wedding, engagement, anniversary, or by your friends to surprise you (after a big hint!).
Give Art features original art works by contemporary artists based in Southeast Asia and the UK. Take a peek at Jason Wee, Justin Lee, Sandrine Llouquet, Manjeet Shergill, and Frances Alleblas- all critically acclaimed artists. Also up and coming artists like Santi Lawrachawee, Genevieve Chua and Guy Duke. If you still can't find what you are looking for, Give Art can track down your favorite artist.
Give Art's excellent website enables you to create your gift registry online with an interactive profile. Photos, comments and messages can be posted up on the page. When your friends and family have made their donations to your gift, all their good wishes and joyful messages and the biography of the artist will be collated into a stunning hardcover guest book, which comes bundled with the artwork. Perfect for group presents.
Need further inspiration? Stop by Give Art's gallery in Tanjong Pagar for the current exhibition: No Conical Hats - Southeast Asian Works on Paper. This exhibition is a gentle reminder that not all Southeast Asian art work relies on conical hats and rice paddy motifs. We like the sound of that. Finally - art works can bought direct from the offline gallery space. Perfect for impulsive gifts to self!
Give Art. 65 Spottiswoode Park Road, p.9005 4850. Open Saturdays 2-7pm. All other times, by Appointment. Why not get a group of friends together and drop by for an hour of art before heading on for dinner. Current exhibition: open until 12th June. Sign up for invites. Info@giveart.net. www.giveart.net
