Festival Fun
Ohhhh so excited. The indie laneway Festival from the alleyways of Melbourne is coming to Singapore for the first time. This sellout Australian Festival brings boundary-pushing, forward thinking, cutting edge artiste’s, and guarantees a day and night of musical discovery that will be on everyone’s “I was there list” for years to come. This year’s line up includes Chk Chk Chk, Beach House, Deerhunter, Foals, The Temper Trap and Yeasayer amongst others.

The Lo & Behold Group with Tracy Phillips (ex-Zouk PR) brings a new lifestyle store & cafe/bar, A Curious Teepee. With carefully curated international and locally sourced gems this store stocks colourful homeware, mens and womens accessories, stationery to craft and souvenirs. Serving Papa Palheta roasted coffee and self-proclaimed some of the best cocktails around Orchard – this little store, café, bar has us curious indeed.

Bronte is a new neighbourhood restaurant serving damn fine Australian comfort food. We are impressed with its brunch menu (available on weekends), but if you miss it we recommend the succulent steak sandwich or a portobello mushroom and goats cheese salad – delish! A welcome addition to the Greenwood area.
