The Comedy Club Asia is bringing out some big guns of comedy this weekend. Jonathan Powley from NYC is one of the fastest rising stars on the tough US comedy circuit. Hurry - selling fast!

Move
Lustrous harmony returns to Velvet Underground with stalwart Jeremy Boon at the decks and a special 'live' showcase by Jeremy Ellis, the freshest maker of electronic soul music today. Armed with his keyboard and golden-toned, syrupy vocals, the latter proudly shows off his affinity for future funk tunes, laced with the tougher sounds of Detroit that's just slightly peppered with folk music.
When: Fri 11 Feb, $28/$35
Where: Velvet Underground, Zouk

Admire
If you love everything vintage (as we do) a must-do this weekend is to check out Restore, a cosy coffee shop also doubles as a vintage furniture store. Try and avoid the temptation of homemade bagels and waffles in this tiny café lined with retro chairs and coffee tables.
When: 12pm-8pm weekend, 11am-7pm Tue-Thur.

Bedazzle
Get cultural at the annual Chingay Parade. What started has a Chinese Cultural parade with big headed dolls, prancing dragons and lions has now become a kaleidoscope of multi cultures from around the world. Expect a fiery spectacular opening with Singapore's first pair of 88-metre long dragons-in-the-sky and a dragon entwined with firecrackers. An entourage of God of Fortunes, Harley Davidson bikes and vintage cars will open the parade with a roaring start!
When: Fri 11 Feb & Sat 12 Feb 7pm open, parade starts at 830pm.
