The April Kids' Guide
What's on for the family in April in Singapore
31 March 2011
Mini Master Chefs
Let's face it - the faster they learn to cook, the sooner you don't have to! Send them along to Expat Kitchens to learn to some new tricks, or better still, book Dad and the kids into a father-children cooking session on Sunday 30 April to allow you a morning ... aaaah...sleep in?
Hop On!
Send the kids along to make their own cotton Easter Bunny at the Jacob Ballas Children's Garden - from cotton and recycled material. Learning about the environment and good for the environment - that's A+ for you!
Easter Skirmish
If skirmish, rock climbing and Ultimate Frisbee are more up your kids' alleys, then ship them off to the Easter Adventure Camp at Turf Club. Sure to burn off all their energy from the chocolate eggs!
Hop To It
Where to find the best of Easter family joy Singapore has to offer? We've found the best entertainment filled Sunday brunches and the yummiest hot cross buns in town.
Peace out
Enjoy the outdoor rhapsody by the Singapore Chinese Symphony Orchestra with a glass of sav blanc while the kids run around to their hearts content. What better way to spend an evening?
Open House
Get your annual/monthly? culture injection with free admission to all Biennale venues in Singapore. That's right - the SAM, Marina Bay, Old Kallang Airport and the National Museum are having an open house.
Third Culture
For those non-Singaporean natives, learn about how to maximise your kids time in a second (or third) culture and face the challenges that come with living away at the Third Culture workshop.
Sneak Preview
And our sneak preview for May - that old Roald Dahl favourite, James and The Giant Peach is showing in Singapore. Follow James on his crazy adventure inside the giant peach.
