This handpicked fair only happens twice a year. With an amazing curated selection of fashion, homewares, gifts, and totally cool kids gear, it is not to be missed.
Here is the scoop on some of the new wares you will find at the upcoming fair...
Fashion Finds
Look out for fashion-label Vama with their bright colours and eye-catching summer dresses. The vintage newspaper wallets and passport holders from Unika, (currently also displayed at the Israeli Museum and Tel Aviv Museum of Art!). The versatile and lightweight Buddha Wear perfect for effortless transition from work to poolside to evening. The Hannah Lee jewellery collection, sourced from New York and London, don't miss the large fun chandelier earrings, long semi-precious stoned chains and her signature fab wide cuffs.
Unique Homewares
Find unique collections of artisan and vintage homeware products ranging from tea-cups, to framed prints, to throws, candles and bracelets at Greentea. Secure your bunny rabbit lamp and other fun French interior accessories at La Cabane, the perfect quirky touch to brighten up any Ikea-laden home. And don't miss the bright delicate maps of the world, London, Paris and NYC, based on original hand cut paper from Simple Things.
Kids Gear
With a separate room full of handmade kids clothes, accessories and décor, don't miss the brand new Cheeky Chaz label with their cute-as-pie kids tees, dresses, vests, headbands, bibs, noticeboards, personalized wall art, buntings, breastfeeding covers and more. Feel Good Factor
There will be 5 charities selling their wares on the day. Like I-India, an NGO in India, which teaches jewellery-making, tailoring and stitch-work to abused, orphaned and destitute children. These products make for truly thoughtful gifts for that hard-to-buy for friend.
Art Fair
In conjunction with BFC is Project Fried Rice, an Art Fair By Local Artists at the Underground Gallery. Organized by local artists with passion, this fair is designed to showcase the local talent displaying a 'fried rice' collection of local art pieces, from young and established artists, ranging from paintings, prints and sculptures.
So, stop by with girlfriends for a gourmet sandwich, coffee and sweets. Or meet in the evening and enjoy a glass of wine and canapé or two.
