3. Planes, Trains and Bumboats

Planes, trains, automobiles… trucks, fire engines, boats. Taking a city tour on a different mode of transport is a great day out and if we’re getting all lofty about it, it might even broaden their little minds too.

5. Wide Open Spaces

Any visitor will love the lush green parks in Singapore. From secret tunnels, to water parks, to parks with flying foxes, kids can run free in a host of tropical green gardens.

6. Indoor play

Ah – raining again? 1000 degrees too hot to face the park? Singapore has a wide selection of kids play centres, and many come with cafes, so mums and Dads can get a caffeine fix to boot.

7. Shop Singapore Style

We have some great kiddy shopping here, some not to miss include the affordable basic range from Cotton On Kids, the well-priced and highly funky Gingersnaps and Zara Kids. If you are looking to lighten the wallet, hit Kids Club 21 for your designer kids fix.

Kids will spend many happy hours in this vast interactive Singapore Discovery Centre, which aims to teach both locals and visitors about Singapore’s past, present and future in a fun, hands-on way. They can record their own news broadcast, fly a helicopter in a 4D simulation ride, or experience life as an astronaut.
