Got visitors coming town, or just looking for some kid friendly weekend inspiration… here is our top ten picks of things to do with the little peeps.

1. Movie Magic

First stop for all visitors travelling with tots Universal Studios. Enter the thrilling world of movie magic as you “ride the movies” on roller coasters and other movie-themed attractions that brings silver screen to life. Be sure to buy the express pass to make the most of your day.

2. Animal Kingdom

The Singapore Zoo is a must on the list. Don’t forget the Night Safari – a perfect thrill for little people and big people alike. If your little one likes feathered friends, Jurong Bird Park doesn’t disappoint.

3. Planes, Trains and Bumboats

Planes, trains, automobiles… trucks, fire engines, boats. Taking a city tour on a different mode of transport is a great day out and if we’re getting all lofty about it, it might even broaden their little minds too.

Kids will spend many happy hours in this vast interactive Singapore Discovery Centre, which aims to teach both locals and visitors about Singapore’s past, present and future in a fun, hands-on way. They can record their own news broadcast, fly a helicopter in a 4D simulation ride, or experience life as an astronaut.

10. Family Friendly Feasting

When the family needs to refuel, head to a kid-friendly restaurant with room for the kids to run. From local Chinese to classic Italian nosh, there are a number of restaurants that are just perfect for those with a mini entourage.
