Shivers!
Underground Boutique: Shiva Designs
26 June 2011
We stubbled upon Shiva Designs, the tiny boutique in the basement of Rima Srivastava's condo, and it made us very, very happy.
Rima is a jewellery designer and homeware & gift shop owner from Melbourne, who has a knack for finding very precious things.
Having to sell her shop when leaving Australia, she now has a tiny boutique in her basement, with a stunning collection of homewares and gift products from international boutique designers.
We had to have a lush Pratten eelskin wallet, (darn that fetish for eelskin!) and at her amazing prices we were pleased we stopped at one.
We were drooling over the Samantha Robinson ceramic wear (as pictured). Samantha, started selling her vases with flowers in them at the Bondi markets just two years ago. Her designers are organic and laid back, yet skillfully handmade, and now internationally renowned.
We also loved the funky fabrics from Pippijoe, and the divine soaps and scents from Sohum in their vintage-chic style wrappers.
Perfect for a girlfriends birthday (or a treat for one-self), pop into Shiva Designs for a shop and sticky-beak, just give Rima a call on 9184 6049, or email her at rima@shiva-designs.com.
