There are lots of things you learn before you are 3.
And the best way to learn things is through exploring, creating and asking questions.
That's why we love the Beanies, Explorers & Creators (or BEC, for short) programs at LEAP SchoolHouse.
Designed for Beanies (8-18 months), Explorers (18-24 months) and Creators (24-36 months), these are immersion programmes that focus on the key skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing to children using effective questions techniques and quality teaching resources.
LEAP use large story books, themed classes (like transportation, sea, the environment), gym work, rhythm & song and free play to enhance motor skills, literacy skills and comprehension.
And the best bit - all BEC lessons are carried out with the parents involved in the class - so not only do you help create this exploratory behaviour and better peer relations for your little one - you also learn how to create meaningful interaction between children and adults in a nurturing and positive environment.
The classes are 2-3 mornings per week. When the 24-36 month olds are ready for immersion into a second language, LEAP even offer such classes with Chinese built into the class sessions. For those with busy schedules, the abridged program WHIZ is available on Saturdays and Sundays.
