Wonder-no-more Singapore....We have found the top secret fashion go-to location... Yue Hwa.
We are serious.
We headed out on a fact finding mission... and amongst racks of auntie-licious pieces, we managed to score some contemporary cuts and colours, imitating runway looks and quality ...at Chinatown prices!
Here is your go to guide to the amazing finds in the legendary Yue Hwa store.
Bold
Found: the perfect oversized blouses in bold, hand painted silk designs to throw on for easy poolside chic, or team up with sassy tailored shorts and pumps for some summery city loving. Starting at $59 (gasp!).
Block
Try and stop yourself at the block coloured trousers for just $39.95 (we know, tres difficult!). Best thing about these cropped, carrot leg trousers is the gorgeous rough natural silks. These pants have just the slightest silk sheen with a natural organic feel, leaving you comfortable yet polished - and they come in every bold colour you can imagine, so stock up... We did!
Dipped
We also found delicate, 24ct gold dipped orchid's - the perfect gift for your best friend, sister, mum (or yourself)! These beauties come as earrings, necklaces or simply a brooch. As with nature, no two pieces are the same. A gorgeous addition to any wanting jewellery box.
Retro
Head upstairs to a table setting dream land - this is the mecca of table cloths. Crochet doilies, napkins, place mats, table clothes - knitted embroidered, broderie-anglaise, filigree, applique - it's all here. Just perfect for that touch of old school for the dining setting.
