You love Vintage.

As a vintage junkie, you know where to find exquisite repros and the more antique range, but when you are looking for original mid-century modern - there are only a few places to shop.

So when you stumble across a warehouse full of original vintage furniture, you *high five* yourself for your prowess.

That's right, you just discovered Mad About Vintage, now your go-to store for original art deco and retro furniture sourced from Indonesia.

This online store has THREE storage units packed to the rafters (or ceiling rather) art deco and retro pieces from the 1940s to 1970s, lovingly restored. The range includes sideboards, coffee tables, arm chairs, sofas, desks, dressers and more.

Injecting vintage furniture from outside Singapore is interesting with the similarities and differences in design. We love the funky pencil leg coffee tables & desks, seventies styled angular sideboards, retro art deco dressers with large round mirrors, turquoise arm chairs, and boxy square framed sofas.

The vintage loving force behind Mad About Vintage is Nurhana Jamaludin (known as Han). This passionate vintage lover started in the industry buying and selling vintage fabrics and wallpapers, and has recently left behind a career in the corporate world to start Mad About Vintage. Her business skills have been applied to the website - as every piece of furniture she stocks is well documented with several photos from different angles - making the website a joy to surf and shop.

Han also has a thing for Owls. Be sure to ask about her fair trade hand woven toy owls that she is retailing. Handmade and hand-dyed by villages in Sri Lanka, each owl has its own personality and are very hard to part with.

You can find Mad About Vintage online and at 'Extra Space' a self storage building located at 7 Kaki Bukit Road 2, just opposite Ubi Driving Centre, where you can see them before making your final decision. Parking is free, but because entering into the storage area requires security code, you need to be escorted. Contact Han on hp. 9155 1337 if you wish to view the products.
