Smells Like

College radio is a platform for creative ideas and profiling our budding local talent. So hats off to NUS’s Radio Pulze who do just that. Their upcoming event Smells Like Nirvana a tribute concert to these rock gods, is another example of this fine work. Three local arts: Amnesia Haze, The Pinholes and Plain Sunset will be playing tributes as well as showcasing their original content. Sounds too cool to say nevermind to.

Movie Mob

Just like a flashmob but with cars, sign up to Moviemob and then drive in, park up and tune in your radio to the secret location. Vote online for which animation film you would like to see this Saturday (choose from Hop, Rango, Megamind or Despicable Me).

Knick Knack

That multi-label store we love, nana & bird have opened in one of the neighbourhoods we dig, Tiong Bahru. Pop in to see the hand selected knick knacks, unique discoveries and rare finds personally selected by the nana & bird creative duo.

Boy Band

The best selling boy band Westlife are here to pump out their well loved tracks like My Love, Swear it Again, and Uptown Girl. Testament to their popularity in Asia being stronger than ever, their show in Hong Kong sold out in 48hours!

French Inspector

Catch Inspector Lavardin, who is induced to investigate the murder of a province’s notable who was taking himself as the moral guardian of his village in this French classic. The perspective of the inquiry changes when the inspector recognizes the widow as one of his youthful loves.
