1. The Orange Thimble
Great coffee and good little menu that covers all bases.

2. Drips Bakery Cafe
An industrial style cafe with yummy pastries and biscuits. Try the cinnamon egg tart and the eggless jam drops.

7. Open Door Policy
A new favourite restaurant (i.e. book ahead!) Delicious modern food like papadum encrusted duck.

9. Wet Markets
Don't visit Tiong bahru without popping into the local wet markets. Great for fresh produce, meat and seafood, we love the amazing flowers and orchids - all at a steal!

Another one for the cooks, this one stop shop has air-flown chilled beef and lamb, Dutch Swiss and Danish cheeses, ready-to-cook frozen goods along with hard to find seasonings and condiments.
