Remember our first feature of Hot New Tables?
It was so well-received that we’ve decided to make the article a regular mainstay – yep, we are giving up our waistlines for the job.
This month, we’ve rounded up the best restaurants you need to get to – from modern Thai cuisine and hearty Italian fare to modern tapas dining – we’ve got it all covered. Just be sure to make those reservations ‘cos all these restaurants have fully packed spaces to prove their excellent nosh.

Salt Tapas & Bar
Luke Mangan of Salt Grill & Sky Bar has re-defined the tapas scene in Singapore. The excellent and reasonably-priced fare means a fully packed restaurant so make your reservations and don’t come wanting to make fruitful conversation – it gets pretty noisy. Our favourites: Tagine of snapper and octopus, chickpeas, silverbeet, date, and lemon; Tuna tartare, ruby grapefruit, wasabi mayo, and the unmissable Gooey hot chocolate tart, caramelised banana, and salted caramel ice-cream.
