Residue 2.0

Dutch born and Asia-based photographer Marcel Heijnen will officially open

his exhibition Residue 2.0 in Galeri Utama – his biggest solo exhibition to date. Heijnen’s works look like paintings but are actually photographs

unaltered, raw and provocative.

Where: Galeri Utama, 70 River Valley Road, Foothill of Fort Canning, opposite Clarke Quay, Singapore 179874

Summer Showdown

Nobody throws a better party than Tanjong Beach Club – just head down this Saturday and test those waters by kicking off summer with fire twirlers, pole dancers, a flaming jump rope, and the sickest disco-tronic tunes.

When: Sat 2 June 2012, 4pm-late, RSVP

Where: Tanjong Beach Club, 120 Tanjong Beach Walk, Sentosa, Singapore 098942

Green Revolution - Sponsored Listing

Think gardening isn’t sexy? Think again. Ergonomic, fun, and completely revolutionary, Greenbo Designer Railing Planters can be safely used on railings or left standing on the floor. They’re perfect as housewarming gifts (everyone needs some extra greenery indoors!) but be sure to pick up an extra one – trust us, you won’t want to give it away.

Where: Greenbo Designer Railing Planters, $45 and up

Summer Flora

It’s the last weekend to check out the kaleidoscopic space transformation at Hermès! If you haven’t already seen it, the entire third floor now resembles a bright summer kimono. Fancy!

When: Thu 31 May-Mon 3 Jun 2012, 1030am-730pm

Where: Hermès, 541 Orchard Road, Liat Towers, 3rd floor, Singapore 238881

Unheard Voices of the Red Light District

Artists Dixie Chan and Felicia Low have collaborated with Project X on the multi-media installation, Unheard Voices of the Red Light District. The installation features an interview with nine women and aims to raise awareness on issues faced by Singaporean sex workers.
