Calling All LEGO Fans
Interactive Attractions at LEGOLAND

76 acres of little yellow men that keep the kids entertained for hours? Bring it on.
The date has been announced: LEGOLAND Malaysia is set to open 15 Sep 2012 in Iskandar, Malaysia, and the team has definitely been hard at work!
Over at LEGO CITY, kids can captain a boat, drive their own LEGOLAND cars, and even apply for a license! (Fast forward 10 years and you’ll be experiencing déjà vu.) Hop on the Fire Rescue Academy where the entire fam can race other fams to see who can put out a fire in LEGO fire trucks first.
We’ve already raved about MINILAND, where you’ll find plenty of Asia’s icons like the Angkor Wat, Taj Mahal, and our very own Merlion. Maybe that won’t excite the kids too much…
But hit up LEGO KINGDOMS where the littlies become knights and princesses in charge of their own kingdom, and we guarantee they’ll go wild. Not only can they conquer and ride dragons, they can even get all fancy as the guests of honor at the Knights feast, or trade with the Kingdom’s ancient merchants at the King’s market.
How’s that for being the best mum ever?
Older kids will enjoy LEGO TECHNIC with its thrilling roller-coaster turns of Project-X, but if you’re looking to please a diehard LEGO fan (that includes the seemingly nonchalant Dad), make sure to visit IMAGINATION where everyone can get in on the building. Bonus for the kids: get a seat on the Kid Power Towers – they pull themselves up a tower to get a bird’s eye view of the park before dropping down!
LEGOLAND is only a 45 minute drive from Singapore’s CBD (make sure to exit Tuas), so it isn’t an epic journey… but we’re sure it’ll be an epic day at the park.
