No time to jet off to Hong Kong for the weekend? Now you can get just a little bit of Hong Kong quirk here.
Starting with Goods of Desire, a renowned Hong Kong brand that incorporates Asian heritage in everyday items. Asian heritage buffs can get their fix with a slew of products: furniture; dining; bath and bedding; accessories; fashion apparel, and stationery.
Yes, there are bigger and treasured finds like vintage Chesterfields that are actually for sale, but the real game? Cheeky old-meets-new items.
Tip: they make terrific souvenirs.
Like tableware with dimsum printed on it (perpetual dimsum? yes please.) or double happiness cutlery for newlweds. Pick up a couple of small totes in iconic market bag stripes or eye masks made with Good Morning brand towels.
You can even find boxers in Chinese newspaper print, pencil cases in the shape of a Chinese slipper, and poufs designed to look like Chinese chess pieces. Way cute!
The store itself is worth a trip down – the zoned site is distinctively zoned so that each area looks and feels different. The homeware section even resembles the old tenement homes in Hong Kong!
