First you have to score entry to the ultimate A-list party for the racing community and Singapore’s party elite: The Podium Lounge.
Attended by F1 drivers, celebrities, musicians, Royalty, models, ambassadors and the ultra jet-set crowd in 2009, ’10 & ’11, the party will again be the most sought after and glamorous nightlife experience during the 2012 Singapore Grand Prix.
The star-studded Podium Lounge event by the hotel’s Greco-Roman swimming pool offers 900 party goers an exclusive opportunity to rub shoulders with personalities and the who’s who in the racing community.
This year, dance your tail off to legendary UK electronic music DJ Seb Fontaine, who will be headlining The Podium Lounge across all three nights, with support from Asia’s Sexiest DJ Angie Vu Ha (Vietnam), GiuseppeG (Italy) and celebrity DJ Nicole Chen & Tenashar (SG) who will spin Dirty Dutch, commercial electro house & dance tracks each night.
World acclaimed Cuban percussionist Pablo Calzado will be the master of rhythm with a mix of international funk, Latin & jazz beats alongside this year’s Podium Lounge DJs, and Singapore’s leading jazz pianist Jeremy Monteiro will be welcoming guests to the registration lounge with a surprise repertoire.
And what’s an A-list party without some good eye candy? You’ve got the people, now bring on the fashion. At 11pm nightly, international models will be strutting their stuff modelling the latest collections from Trisha Vu (Fri 21 Sep), CANALI (Sat 22 Sep), and Willow & Huxley (Sun 23 Sep). Each show will be followed by a live charity auction of extremely rare and authenticated F1 memorabilia with proceeds to The Children’s Cancer Foundation.
