Wonder what we get up to over the weekend? Our regular adventurers, Chris and Mel share their perfect weekend getaway in a red hot Mini. Top down, let’s go!

Sat, 9am

We hit the Farmers’ Market at Loewen Gardens to load up on fresh food. Not sure how, but someone hands us a cup of coffee – thank the Java gods.

11am

We swing by the newly opened Nassim Hill to lunch on their signature Hot Reuben before setting off for a regular session of Saturday Super Shopping. Someone may have sneaked a glass of beer before noon…

1230pm

Game face on. First stop: nana & bird at Tiong Bahru for some boutique shopping (where we try on one too many outfits) and Flea and Trees down the road for our weekly dose of sparkles. One last afternoon cuppa at Forty Hands before we zip back to doll up for a big night out.

7pm

Hola Catalunya, hottest Spanish restaurant in the city! We round up the girls to feast: Tomato Tartar Confit, Jamon Iberico Croquette, and a traditional suckling pig are the night’s tasty highlights.

10pm

More gastro delights at The Cufflink Club with perfectly executed cocktails. Our driver is limited to 1, but hey, who’s complaining when you’ve got a Mini to cruise in?

Sun, 11am

Hangover help required, stat. We book in with the talented folks over at ESPA for some major R&R.

3pm

Guess who’s got a spot in the highly-coveted coffee tasting workshop at Chye Seng Huat Hardware! For an hour our coffee senses go into overdrive as we live in caffeine bliss.

5pm

We get a call from the guys at the Training Shed. Are we going down to join in the fun? You betcha! We shimmy over in our snazzy red Mini… with more food in tow, of course.

1130pm

Completely wiped from the picnicking and partying. Weekend well spent; mission accomplished.
