Party alert: if you haven’t already heard, we’re throwing a party this Thursday night!
We can’t wait to meet all of you, and in honour of our first event, we thought we’d show you guys around the Honeycombers block a little.
Today we’re taking a quick tour around the house of Chris Edwards (our Founder and Managing Director). Want to know where we get our iconic loud color inspiration from?
Take it from the neon addict herself!
Call us biased, but Chris’s place is pretty covetable. Check out her neat collection of furniture and home accessories after the jump.
You guys know that we’re big on furniture at the Honeycombers. It’s hard not to be when we’re inspired by Chris’s place! Our weekly Monday morning meetings serve as eye candy for the team as we get down to tackling business.

Speaking of the team… here’s us at our meeting. We work from home but once a week we get together to discuss all things Honeycombers. Hot topic this week? Party plans!

The colour continues upstairs in the bedrooms as well. Check out Chris’s three-year-old daughter, Evie’s room – if we were 3 year-old girls, this would be totally dreamy. A quick conversation with Chris revealed the following:
Us: These owls are adorable! Does Evie like owls?
Chris: No, no she doesn’t… but I do! But she will in the future, who doesn’t?

The team always goes gaga for Louis, Chris’s one-year-old son. Of course we love Evie when she runs in through the door after school (though she doggedly loves The Wiggles more), but charming Louis always gets us with his laughter.

If you’ve ever visited Chris, you’ll know that she’s got amazing prints of her family all around the place. This portrait of her husband, Jason, was taken by a good friend, The Photo Butler.

Back downstairs, Chris’s house is the epitome of tropical living. Just check out that verandah and the full basket of sunnies!
