Melbourne Cup Day in Singapore

Just because you aren’t in Melbourne doesn’t mean you can’t frock up, frill out, and have a fabulous day of fun and fashion to celebrate Australia’s most famous horse race.
We joined the glamorous girls at the Ronald McDonald Charity Melbourne Cup event held at the Fort Canning Hotel. Organized by the talented (and gorgeous) Melissa Connell and Tiffany Maughan (of Shopping at Tiffany’s fame), this day was all about celebrating the ‘race that stops a nation’ in style and raising some funds at the same time.
The event was a sellout success and raised over $16,000 with all proceeds donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Singapore. RMHC Singapore will be opening a new Ronald McDonald House at a hospital early next year to provide a home-away-from-home facility for families to stay close to their sick children. We were proud to support their fantastic initiatives.
