We’re all looking to end the year with a bang, so whether you’re after the gastronomic, party popper, or gunpowder variety, we’re here to make the celebration happen!
NYE Parties
The festive season continues at Capella where you can count down to 2013 in a white wonderland. Not only will you be dancing on a luminous glass dance floor, you’ll also be entertained by two-time Las Vegas Variety Entertainer of the Year, Donny Ray Evins, Dale Burridge, one of Australia’s most successful concert performers, and Trisha Crowe, one of Australia’s most famous female operatic voices and performers. Couple that with an epicurean feast by elebrity Chef Hans Borén, currently Chef de Cuisine at the 28+ restaurant in Göteborg, Sweden, a restaurant famed for being the longest restaurant in Sweden to hold a Michelin Star. It’s Rock’n'Roll at CHIJMES’s retro-themed “Countdown to Retro” party at The Lawn, CHIJMES. The party’s free-for-all so you can hop over after your NYE feast and work off those calories on the dancefloor as local band, Retro Groove, will entertain with classic rock and roll tunes. Singapore’s most elite nightclub will be transformed into the ‘Golden Era’ of Las Vegas complete with Vegas-style entertainers, showgirls, mock casino table games, and New York’s most highly sought after DJ, Vikas Sapra. The Ultimate Deck Party at MBS Skypark

NYE Dinners
It’s a hedonistic Thai and Spanish insurrection at Martin No. 38 as BOMBA and KHA team up for an epic party. Start the party early with buffet menus from both restaurants (yes, you get to pick and choose from both BOMBA and KHA, plus there’s free-flow booze), then stomp to the beats of Whitelabel’s sound system featuring DJ Reiki and DJ Yeow. Those who are filling their tummies elsewhere can join in from 11pm for the countdown. Free-flow booze continues all night long! $68+ for the countdown party, $178+ for dinner and the party. Welcome the future by celebrating the past! It’s a night of decadence and 1920s hedonism at Graze’s The Great Gatsby Festive Barbeque Buffet Feast with 3-hour unlimited supply of bubbly and selected house beverages from 730. The menu includes a full barbecue and spit menu and features suckling pig, lamb chops, and angus beef sausage among many others. $110++ per person. Call 6775 9000 for reservations.
Don’t want to grapple with traffic in the city? We hear ya. Reserve your table at Pantry at the Stables’s first stall concept dinner with a spread of over 30 different dishes. Highlights include fresh Chilled Tiger Prawns, Oysters, Crabmeat Linguine, and Pan Fried Foie Gras with spiced poached apples and Pan Fried Miso Cod with Wasabi. Choose from two executive 6-course set dinners at two separate seatings (the first from 6-8pm, the second from 8pm) this NYE. Highlights include Charcoal Grilled Boston Lobster Tail, Yuzu Saffron Miso, and Wagyu Ribeye Roast. If you’re looking for a reason to celebrate, head to JAAN and indulge in a 10-course Degustation Menu. It’s definitely a splurge at $538++ per person including a glass of Krug, but why not end the year with one last good meal? Hand-dive scallop Carpaccio, Foie Gras with Black Truffle and Quince, Smoked egg, and Venison Loin – this will be a feast to remember. Call 6837 3322 for reservations.
