KidZania is coming to Sentosa, Singapore

Don’t want to travel across the border to LEGOLAND and can’t stomach the kids’ favourite roller coaster rides anymore?
Bring on KidZania, the world’s fastest growing family entertainment centre.
There are no rides or arcade games here; instead, kids take part in what was probably the first kids game ever invented: role-play. Designed to educate and inspire kids aged 4 to 14, KidZania creates a kid-centric city experience from arriving at the airport, to visiting a city centre and exploring the city streets.
At KidZania, kids choose professions and activities. So they get to be anything from a police officer, a doctor, a journalist, or even a sushi maker, and earn money. And just as we already know, they can choose to spend or save the money they earn.
The KidZania world operates just like a real city; there are buildings, paved streets, vehicles, a functioning economy, and recognizable establishments that are even sponsored and branded by leading local and multi-national brands.
It’s indoors so you don’t have to worry about getting rained out, and as Singapore’s first (and really big) indoor theme park – it covers 7600 square metres (aka it’s a whole new world in there!).
The first park was opened in Mexico in 1999 and has since grown to 13 locations in 8 different countries. KidZania is expected to open in Sentosa, Singapore come early 2015. It’s a while off but we think it’s worth waiting for…
