[ADV] Parent-child classes at LEAP Schoolhouse
Tuesday, 8 Jan 2013
So it’s the new year and you’ve resolved to spend more time with your littlie… while still tackling work, the in-laws, and that social calendar.
Solution? LEAP SchoolHouse’s BEC/WHIZ Programme.
The BEC/WHIZ programme caters to young children between 8 months to 36 months and focuses on
a)refining your littlie’s general and psychomotor skills, and
b) stimulating them with quality knowledge and standard linguistic exposure before they hit three.
But it’s no standard teacher-class time here because parents, you guys are part of the crew.
Together with your littlie, you’ll be covering free play, rhythm and song, gym work, and literacy time. Teachers will read aloud to children, littlies will be taught how to express their creativity through song and movement, and not only will their fine and gross motor skills improve, but (you’ll like this one, parents) their attention span will increase too. Win-win!
At about 2 years old, LEAP also introduces a Chinese Rhythm and Song component to enrich learning. We have a feeling the kids won’t be the only ones learning with this one.
BEC classes are available twice a week on weekdays, but if you’re working fulltime, opt for the WHIZ classes, which are once a week on weekends. Classes range from $200-380 per month or $400-760 per term.
If you’re looking to give your child a headstart in life… it’s never too early to get crackin’.
