Timothy Oulton

What:

Bohemian, baronial and slightly kitschy, we love the new Timothy Oulton store which has just opened in the old John Erdo's showroom in Kim Yam Road.

This celebrity loved British designer, has showrooms and galleries in New York, Los Angeles, Madrid and Barbados, and now Singapore.

The Timothy Oulton showroom has a very cool Britanna flair. From decorative vintage memorabilia such as the typewriters, washed out flags and old photos (all for sale) to horse saddles stapled to the walls and steering wheels hung to others, the showroom is a art piece itself.

A real boys club feel, the showroom includes an art exhibition area and a living room space where old Hollywood movies are screened, creating an overall atmosphere where creativity is stimulated in a nostalgic and casual setting.

And the furniture? Think antique studded truck coffee tables and side tables, grand gentleman's style sofas in butter soft brown leather, and industrial part-aviation style chairs with studded aluminium finished with ribbed leather.

Definitely one for the boys.
