With its grand entrance, huge reception area and oh-so-chi bar and restaurant, we were thrilled with this find. And even better for those early risers they have a very reasonable breakfast menu and are open at 8am (Hallelujah!)
A most unusual place, as we could instantly envisage grand parties like weddings here, along with romantic dinners, and with its outdoor terrace and fountains, lawn and oversized rocking chairs we found it was the perfect place for breakfast with the kids.

We did a quick test run of the breakfast menu and the service - and whilst the early morning menu was a little limited, it was extremely well priced (for example $4 for pancakes), and the service was second to none.

With a quick sneak around the restaurant, we fell in love with the beautifully restored building and the 1920s glamorous and chic bar - just calling for a girl's night.
