For more than a dash of red carpet glamour, head down to Valentino Retrospective: Past/Present/Future. Valentino opened the first haute couture house outside Paris, and throughout his 50 year career, Valentino created gowns that were largely untouched by trends, making each of his creations timeless and exquisite works of art.
The exhibition showcases one hundred of Valentino's most sumptious and sophisticated gowns - you will recognise dresses worn by Hollywood royalty Cate Blanchett, Jackie O (on her wedding day no less), Julia Roberts, Nicole Kidman, Elizabeth Taylor, and others.
We were lucky enough to check out a sneak preview - it is a certainly feast for the eyes. These wearable pieces of fine art will inspire you to add a touch of glamour and colour in your own life, or to find a ball to attend with your Prince Charming.
