Project Fried Rice: Art Fair By Local Artists is a two day event that will be held at the Underground Gallery, Fort Canning Centre in conjunction with Boutiques from 4 - 5 May 2011.

Project Fried Rice aims to bring together a collection of local art pieces, from young and established artists, from any artists who actively practices arts in Singapore, and present them as one aesthetic gallery show to the public.

As its name suggested, Fried Rice which is a common local rice dish of mixed ingredients, signifies that this fair would be an amalgamation of various art works ranging from paintings, prints and sculptures that show off the local talents that are currently practising in Singapore. This presents a great opportunity to promote local arts, foster relationships between the artists, and allow both the local and expatriates to interact in one space with the artists.

An inaugural attempt to organise an art fair by local artists with passion, we want to do it as each and every opportunity counts.
