What:
With food that is simple and uncomplicated and decent coffee, Jones is a favourite. We love their excellent cupcakes and delicious Turkish Delight. This place is excellent for a cuppa but the communal tables almost guarantees you'll be rubbing elbows with fellow diners more engaged in their conversation than their food. Picky diners need not apply, this casual grocer is for people who want simple food, at the right price, in a relaxed setting.
Jones The Grocer has now opened in town at the Mandarin Gallery, level 4. Not quite as nice as the Dempsey setting, and a tad more expense too, we prefer the leafy outlook of their first location. But another place where you are guaranteed to get a decent coffee is always welcome!
