Your ultimate guide to everything fabulous and fun in Singapore

Eco Goods

What:

Two like minded individuals, Jane Holden and Carrie Gray, met in Jakarta while working on social welfare projects with the Australia New Zealand Association. Moved by the poverty and desperation of the communities they worked with, they vowed to make a difference. So, Eco Goods came together with the belief that we can all help reduce our impact on the planet and contribute to alleviating poverty through what we buy and consume right here in Singapore.

Eco Goods' products are a one-of-a-kind purchase that supports the vision to foster prosperity in disadvantaged communities. Currently they stock DYRT and Afri Beads.

About DYRT:
DYRT is a funky new range of bags and homewares made from recycled billboard vinyl.

DYRT stands for 'Do You Recycle Too', means 'Expensive' in Norwegian and represents the culmination of good design, social duty and responsible waste disposal. Ingenious.

The DYRT range includes bags for men, women and children as well as accessories for the home and office. They make bean bags, pillow covers, foot stools, laptop covers, compendiums and agendas as well as sport and travel bags all now available in Singapore.

About Afri Beads:
Afri Beads are individually made from strips of recycled paper cut into triangles and rolled into beads, then varnished before being made into unique and gorgeous jewelley.
